Nathan at Firefly Fields started his bread baking career in California and has been perfecting his sourdough ever since. Made with organically grown flour and baked to perfection in the wood-fired oven, these loaves are as fresh and delicious as can be.

A Sourdough Bread Share will get you two 6-8” loaves per season: one classic sourdough, and the other a cranberry sourdough, which he describes as “excellent… the tartness of the cranberries really sets off the tang of the sourdough”.

Over the course of the year you’ll receive 6 loaves.

Pick up of your bread share will happen at the same time/place as pick up of each of your herbal CSA shares (and whatever other add-on’s you may choose).

About Firefly Fields:

Nathan Hammer started Firefly Fields in 2016 after having worked or managed twelve other farms around the U.S. and the world. The diversity of other farms helped him decide to have a small organic diversified farm that focuses on fruits, berries, and specialty vegetables. As part of his post college "education" he worked as a night baker at a bakery in Palo Alto, California. He had always loved bread and after that he had the experience to understand it even better. Most of Nathan's time is spent growing crops and thinking about and making good food.
