Comprehensive Study
of 40 medicinal plants, detailing the habitats, harvests, uses & preparations of locally abundant and occasionally exotic herbs, and of each of the systems of the body, including how things go wrong and how to cultivate + return to health + vitality
Medicine Making
Learn how to make, store, and use herbal preparations like tinctures, tea blends, fresh herbal infusions, elixirs, salves, oxymels, infused oils + honeys, cordials, cough syrups, bath soaks, flower essences, compresses, fire cider, and more...
Wildcrafting, Plant Attunement + Gardens
Learn from the plants first-hand: touching, smelling, tasting, and observing them as they grow, and getting our hands covered in good dirt as we learn the mysteries of root, blossom, leaf, and seed.
... as well as much more, as determined and inspired by the seasons, the plants, the students, and the teacher!
Visit a medicinal herb farm, wander through the medicine gardens at our homestead, walk softly through the sun-dappled forest with a harvesting basket on your arm ... spend time in the world of the plants and animals, and feel yourself at home.
Your apothecary is a place to truly welcome the plants into your home. Together we'll fill it with glass bottles, jars, handcrafted labels, rows of herbs hanging to dry; everything you need to create a beautiful and functional home apothecary.

Class time is from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Classes are held in Bristol + Lincoln, Vermont.
We are happy to share information about local accommodations for those coming in from out of town!

What's Included:
All Materials to create your apothecary, including all the medicinal herbs, glass jars and bottles, alcohol for tincture making, oils for infusing, beeswax for salves, honey for oxymels and elixirs, vegetable glycerine for glycerites, labels, boxes, and more!
36+ Hours of small group class time, wildcrafting, making medicine, learning about the medicinal plants and about personal and family health, building up your apothecary, etc.
Gaining the Knowledge (and the apothecary!) to take care of yourself, your family, and your friends with safe, local, organic and lovingly prepared medicinal plants!
